Tattoo Studio Sink 400mm — No Plumbing | Matt Black | UK
Matt black 400mm sink unit with hot & cold running water — no plumbing needed. Commonly used for tattoo studio licensing. UK built, free delivery.
The licensing inspection is booked and the studio has no pipework. The Blackout 400 is the smallest answer we build: a complete hand-wash station with hot and cold running water, matt black, in a footprint that tucks in beside a bench.
Who it’s for
Built for tattoo studios first — artists working in converted rooms, basements and units above shops where getting pipes in is expensive or impossible. Equally at home in barbershops, piercing rooms and home studios. Commonly used by tattoo studios and clinics to meet council licensing and hygiene requirements: a hand-wash sink with hot and cold running water at the station.
How it works
Fill the fresh water container, plug into a standard UK 13A socket, and you have hot and cold running water. A pump feeds the tap, water is heated on demand, and waste collects in a separate container inside the cabinet — emptied as easily as a bucket. No mains connection, no waste pipe, nothing to install.
What’s included
The unit arrives fully built and tested: matt black cabinet, white ceramic basin, black tap, pump and heating system, fresh and waste water containers. The cabinet houses the water system — fill it, plug it in, use it. Free UK delivery

Fitted as standard with the heated-tap system and a black tap. Upgrade to the 3kW inline heater system (+£100) or the touchless sensor tap (+£200). Any colour available at the same price, built to order — message us before ordering if you want something specific.

FAQ
How does a sink work without plumbing?
Every unit is self-contained. A fresh water container feeds a pump, water is heated on demand, and waste collects in a separate container inside the cabinet — emptied as easily as a bucket. No mains connection, no waste pipe.
Does it have hot water?
Yes — hot and cold. The standard system heats water on demand through the electric tap; the upgraded system (+£100) uses a 3kW inline heater instead. Both run off a standard UK 13A socket.
Is it suitable for tattoo studio licensing?
Our units are commonly used by tattoo studios and clinics to meet council licensing and hygiene requirements — a hand-wash sink with hot and cold running water. Requirements vary by council, so check specifics with your local authority.
Can I use it in a rented studio?
Yes — nothing is fixed to the wall and no pipework is altered, so there is nothing to reinstate when you leave.
Does it need any installation?
None. It arrives fully built and tested. Fill the fresh water container, plug it in, use it.
